Default walbro fuel pump install....do I have the right pump?

tried to install a walbro 255 lph fuel pump into my 91 civic tonite. Dropped the tank, spliced on the wires and hooked up the fuel line.

The problem is that the rubber piece on the bottom does not fit. It will not fit in the bottom of the L bracket unless the strainer is not on the bottom of the pump.

The part number on the pump is GSS 341. I have noticed on several sites that this pump is used on many applications (integra, dsm, supra, etc). I think that the difference for each application is only in the rubber piece on the bottom. Do I possible have the right pump with the wrong rubber piece on the bottom? Can I order just the rubber piece?
