Default Starting Problems! HELP!!!

I seriously need to figure this out as the shop has gone thru their ideas and nothing worked. I have a H22 Civic Hatch and basically I try to start the car, it cranks sometimes, sometimes I just hear clicking. I think it could be the starter but when I hook up the car to a booster, the car starts up. I keep it running then I shut it down, I try to start it again without the booster... car starts... Now for possible solutions:

1. Main Fuel Relay has broken leads but by putting the booster, it's jumping over the broken leads. Will know if this is the problem tomorrow morning.

2. Starter, doesn't seem like it since I turn it off and try to start it again and it works.

Also unrelated but when I had my clutch replaced, oddly enough I can start the car without putting the clutch down. Clutch Safety Switch is plugged in but doesn't work...

Please help!!!

Try another battery. That or try taking it to Autozone and they'll check your ignition system for free.

I'm stumped then. Definately sounds ignition related, so the main relay would'nt be it IMHO.

it can't be the starter, it makes a cranking noise. Maybe u have a drain somewhere in ur system, Check that. otherwise start it for a while and remove the ground and reconnect the next morning or in a couple of hour.

check connections to the battery. make sure you have the right fuses... sounds like a power issue not a mechanical issue...

Found what it was.... It was the battery. It had enough voltage but when tested under the load test, it failed. It went all the way down to the bottom. Changed it, starts up perfectly now.
