Well after 2 summers my Center Force D/F is toast. I want to get an ACT clutch but not sure which one to get. My car is a/m ZC which it used for about 60% street use and 40% strip. I want something thats going to grip nice and also last a while. what are some of you guys/girls using. I was looking at the kit # HC4-HDR6. Oh ya keep in mind that i like to run a 75 shot of zex now and then. thanks Gary
I think you are looking at a little too much clutch for your car. It sounds like you may have the wrong part numbers too. I assume you want to upgrade to the 212mm which is smart but the part numbers you are indicating are for the '89 not the '88. You would need the HC6 kit not the HC4 kit if is indeed the 21 spline disc. I would recommend the HC6-HDSS or HC6-XTSS (for a little extra) if you are concerned about street type engagement. Otherwise I would recommend the HC6-HDR6. The six puck will be slightly smoother engaging and will take more abuse. You would need the 90 and newer flywheel (600115 or 600120 XACT).
act is the best clutch on the market for racing and street.if you make over 700 ask for the full race package.act is honestly the best group of guys you could deal with .
