Default Let me know what you Experts think!!

I'm in a bit of a dilemma....as # 01-581 rests peacefully in the back yard (total loss) .....I can't seem to figure out what to do next....everything under the hood is perfectly fine thats why I bought it back from insurance, its just that the frame is twisted all to hell. Anyways I have been debating on what to get for the swap. i know all about the ek but i am not particularly in love w/ it. I have alwayz liked the 99 00 Si and was thinking of buying one stock, swap motors and sell the b16. Do you guys know of anyone that has that setup? I've never done a complete swap, but I have helped a friend put a LS into a CRX but i didn't help w/ the wiring.

How difficult will this swap be and how much wiring will have to be done? When I finally tear the car down I will be selling parts so i'll keep you guys posted. Any comments are welcome.

thanks

I know a guy in North Carolina who swapped a US market B18C1 into his SI. He said it was the easiest swap possible.

Not really helping, but at least we know it's easier than anything else.

bolts right in, OBD2 to OBD2. Just get a ITR wiring harness complete.

Actually the ITR harness will be useless in an EK. No Integra harnesses can be used in the EK chassis due to the EK's 1 piece engine harness design. He would want to reuse the Si engine harness on the ITR motor which would still be plug and play, since the 01 ITR is OBD2B and the 99-00 Si is OBD2B.
You can expect about the same performance with the ITR swap in a 99-00 Si since the weight, size, etc. is near the same as the Integra. Now if you were to drop that same ITR swap into a CX or VX EG hatch....
