How to install extended wheel studs

Remove front wheels, unbolt and hang front calipers, remove rotor screws and remove front rotors,remove axle nuts, pull front hubs-a hub puller recommended. Press or hit old studs out-put lugnuts on them beforehand if you want to save the threads. Press or hit new studs in. Reinstall everything in the reverse order.

It depends on the tools available and the skill of the person. Also, it will take a lot more time if the car is back East where everything rusts together. Here in Cali, it would take less than an hour for a semi-skilled mechanic with decent equipment.

its not hard bro..i changed all 16 in likean hr but my rears are drums not disc....good luck

i got my 5lug off the car already i have taken everything off but the only problem is that the area for me to take out the stock studs, it looks like something is in the way i think its the hub dont know what you call it anyone help?

Here is another post with instructions also. On the first set of instructions with the slide hammer I would have not re-used that bearing. I replaced mine with new Honda one since the race pulled out of the bearing like in his pictures.

just curious but why do the skunk2 studs suck? and also ive heard tack welding is only required if youre pushing a **** load of power i think the person i talked to told me about 400+ or something, but why?
