tranny mount help ..... 94-01 integra???
im doing an auto to manual swap using a cable tranny from a 92 ls into my 98 ls... my question is do i get mounts for my year car manual tranny or do i get mounts for the year tranny.... sorry for the noob question but help is much appriciated!
There really isn't an OEM mount out there that will fit your car with that tranny properly. The cable tranny used in the 90-93 Integra uses a mount and frame rail bracket that's different from the 94-01 Integra's.
Let's say you were using a 94-01 Integra hydro tranny, you would need to remove the auto tranny bracket that's on your frame rail and have a manual one welded in then use a 94-01 Integra or 92-95 Civic upper tranny mount. There is also an aftermarket mount you can buy from Place Racing and/or HCP to aid with this type of manual swap.
So now since you are using a cable tranny there's only one method I could think of that might work. You would need to buy an upper tranny mount and rear mount from HASport, the ones that is used in the hydro to cable conversion kit for an EG (like first gen B16A in an EG). Then you will still need to get a manual frame rail bracket and have it welded in correctly which will replace your factory manual bracket.
I would suggest getting a 94-01 B series hydro tranny and swapping in the hydro lines and clutch master cylinder. it's really not that hard and it would end up being better overall. That's just my opinion though.

He's wanting to do an auto to manual swap, in his case he doesn't have a hydro LS tranny as of yet. It's not like he's wanting to switch from hydro manual to cable.

correct! i already bought the 92 ls tranny because i got it dirt cheap! so i will need to get the manual tranny bracket and then use mounts from hasport for the 94-01?
