Default 96 itr brakes, need help

just scored a full 96 itr brake conversion complete with 96 itr wheels and tires for 690. now im kinda stressin since i cant find any rotors to replace the rusted ones. someone told me there the same size as the gsr rotors and same goes with the calipers, is this true, where do i go to get the brakes re-drilled to 4x114.3 and how much does it usually cost? i also heard i can use 4th gen prelude rotors and that they bolt in but i might have some caliper issues, so does this mean i have to get prelude calipers, cause ****, those things are kinda pricey....any help is well appreciated, thanks

You can't use 97 USDM ITR rotors?

the 97 ITR rotrs are 5 lug, you would need to redril them to make them fit on the 96 4 lug rotors.

I'm not sure if they are the same in size? but I dont think the JDM 96 ITR rotors were the same as the gsr, I think they were bigger, and the bolt pattern is different

I thought that the 97 USDM ITR was a 4 lug? Wasn't it 4x113.4 or something?

Aren't Accord 4 lug brakes the same size/bolt pattern as the '96 Spec R brakes? Check into that. Go to Fastbrakes.com and email or call them for help.

You can use 4x114.3 Prelude rotors and calipers but you will need to add spacers. The upgrade to Prelude rotors/calipers is in Honda Integra Hyper Rev Vol. 27 on page 159.

if you are in a hurry, just get the ones you have resurfaced for 6 bucks each. if it is a little rust it is ok btw... it will come off when you brake...

if i rememebr correctly, you can use prelude's non-vtec rotors. you can try to buy a and try it. if it doesn't fit you can always return it.

if u have an integra already, u just spent 600 bucks to use a different sized wheel lug and thats it. those brakes are the same size as stock usdm integras.

you can either use redrilled stock integra disc, or convert to a larger sized disc of the vtec prelude with the correct calipers.

search in the civic forum, they have a very extensive thread on this topic.
