yes...I believe he need to take out the plastic/rubber tap and put nuts and bolts there to make it work.

yes it sure does..i have it on my HB (same as coupe or 4drs)...but you or yoour buddy will need to get 4 bolts and nuts and also remove the rubber gormment if any that is on the tower..
