black stock wheels
those here that have painted their stock wheels black, how did u do it? did u go to a shop and have them painted or just spray paint them?? I know Yoshi did this so it would be nice if he answered this post. (although I dont think his are stock). My stock wheels are white at the moment but dont look good cause of stone marks and the former owner NEVER washed them
I took some 600 grit wet/dry sand paper to the wheels. Used Krylon Primer and finished with Krylon Ultra-Flat black paint. Be sure to wipe them down with rubbing alcohol to remove oil after you sand. I even painted them WITH the tires ON!! It flaked off the tires real quick.
The paint holds up real well...Survived an off at ButtonWillow and numerous wheel changes.

I did it just like Chris, but I used the cheapest flat black primer from Pep Boys
Shot two coats on there and it's holding up very well
yoshi - who doesn't have those 'black' rims anymore
