Default Is it worth getting GSR camshafts?

I was curious to know, on my CRVtec is it worth it running the GSR intake cam and the stock b16 exhaust cam? or will I be fine with just the b16 cams? Or will it benefit me more to use the GSR intake cam?

i doubt you would see very much gain from the change. why not just save up for some itr/ctr or aftermarket cams?

IM running an LS/VTEC with a B16 head. I swaped out the cams for GSR units. It make a considerable difference in the power range

The guy I sold my GSR cams to was happy with them in his b16a. He said it was a pretty big difference.

If it's only $30, then go for it. But you'll still be much happier with some Type R cams.

I know that, I wish had $2-300 for a set of CTR camz, but right now I can get JUST the intake GSR camshaft with cam gear for about $30. So that's why I wanted to know if it is worth it or not.

Also while I'm on the subject of GSR cam's, is there a way of identifying the cam to make sure it is really a GSR?

Go ahead and get the GSR cam for $30, it's more than worth it. In fact IM me later if you want to sell it, I can use it. The GSR cam should be stamped P72 for identification purposes.
