Air filters for cai

Whats the best performace air filter you know of and is it worth the extra ponies?

in a magazine, the did a shoot out on filters......K&N, Blitz, HKS, and Apex-i......the Apex flowed the best and cleanest.....K&N was 2nd

Isn't the Aem Cai filter a K&N? What are the price differences between the Apexi and K&N, also the difference in gains?

K&N costs about 20-50bucks i think? while the Apexi Filter cost about 100-150. large difference but i dont think the power firgures between the 2 are worth the extra money...IMHO
