An-R and Headertech Header Questions
Ok, I've been looking into the AN-R and Headertech headers because I've heard good things and the price is somewhat in my range. Now, I've checked out the titanmotorsports header test and like the results of the Headertech header, considering it's price amongst the others tested, but AN-R was unavailable.
Here are my ?'s:
what's the difference between a merge and street collector(pics are good)?
what's the difference in designs for an-r's standard/compact header besides clearance for the radiator?
what's the best price(not msrp) for both headers anyone has received?

the an-r header will be submitted for titanmotorsports next header test in a couple months. titanmotorsports has been contacted about this already.
the street collector is a formed from a single piece of metal into sort of like a funnel where all 4 pipes meet. the merge collector is made by welding 4 tubes together at predetermined angle where they merge to produce the best scavenging effect.
our original design was the standadrd design. the only reason we came up with the compact version was for the clearance of the radiator. both designs have very similar power due to keeping the primary lengths very similar to one another.
