What Side of Valvespring is UP??

I am on my way out to the Machine shop to have them assemble my Head, and I have a set of TODA Valvesprings... Which side is the "UP" side to the spring???
I noticed that one end is wound tighter than the other end.
Which end is which????

your gonna notice on the spring ends,the lead end of each spring has a slash cut on it.Compare them to your stock ones,and go from there knowing the side with the tighter windings goes on the bottom.hope this helps.
