Going to purchase soon for the B18B, crower itself sells the cams for 400 bucks, and the TI VS/Retainers is 370. Anybody know of anyplace cheaper? I'm not familiar with the good places to shop for the aftermarket parts.

http://www.groupbuycenter.com i remember turboevolution's gb on 403s were about $340 a set shipped, and crower valve springs/retainers were $290 shipped. However instead of gettin crower valve train for $290 u can get a set of JG magneseum single valve springs/retainers for $160 shipped and save a $130.

u only have to get the crower valve springs/retainers kit if ur going to run the 404 cams, or plannin on revvin ur engine over 7500rpm all the time.

I want new stuff...my motor has alot of miles and the VS/retainers would be good for it...I'm doing a pretty good build up. and I prob will have a higher redline.

I just did a rough estimate for a 10 pound package and about the dimensions of the original boxes cause thats what I'd ship them in. It was around $11 Any idea how much a set of cams weigh?

i got a good set of 403's and crower dual vavle springs for sale for 300 shipped. they are both used for about 5k or so miles I think but it doe'snt matter they are in very good shape and will work perfectly I also have a mild Port and Polish 99 LS head with brand new 3 angle valve job new valve seals and brand new exhuast valve guides. only problem is that one of the screw holes needs to be retap by a machine shop. I can sell the whole package for 500 shippd.. it'll be the best money you'll ever spend guranteed.
