Default feeler guage..... did I buy the right one ?

I burchased a craftsman 26 blade feeler guage.
It only does .13mm-.76mm or .005in-.030in

I know toda recommends something like a .2mm valve clearance is this true ?
Hence I would have the wrong tool.

What is the factory ITR valve clearance settings ?
Intake: 0.006 - 0.007 in
Exhaust: 0.007 - 0.008 in
?

Thanks,
John

Just read this on toda's site:
All TODA Racing camshafts must be tuned using TODA adjustable campulleys to attain maximum performance. Valve lash for all cams is 0.2mm cold.

Horseshit, looks like I need a better feeler guage.

LOL!!

Well, at least you owned up to it. Your first post confused the hell out of me. I guess you were thinking "point thirteen" then got messed up when Toda said "point two."

did you get the angled feeler guage?

you may still have the wrong feeler guage

the angled ones are longer and reach better than the straight ones

I purchased the check valve clearance offset 45 deg feeler guages :-)

Ive used this same set before to check valve clearance after installing cams in my b18b.

I have another q, where can I purchase a valve adjusting tool...

I know a lot of guys use a bent 10mm wrench... But I dont have access to one or a torch to make one...

I would rather use a snap on style tool then a torqe wrench to set the 10mm nuts to spec :-)

Any info on an aftermarket tool besides snapons would be nice.
