d16a1 pistons in a y7

hey guys i was just wondering if d16a1 pistons will fit in a d16y7 and would this benefit me in any way??btw my car is n/a

Yes they will fit. You'll get higher compression for sure.

On a motor with a PnP'ed head, with a race cam, how much hp on an average can you expect to gain from every point (10:1-11:1) etc. on a SOHC.
