CF hatch for g2 and g3
would you have to get a lexan glass for that? 'cause i would imagine that the oem glass would be too heavy to keep opening and closing the hatch...
I dont think i understand what your saying. Why would the OEM glass be to heavy for it? I would imagine you use the oem parts to open and close and they work fine with the metal hatch. I think if i was going to get the hatch i would get somthing like FAIL but i think the oem glass would be fine.
man those prices are insane for that...check out the VIS one...good quality and fit and much better price (a memvbr here has one on a gunmetal dc2 with red wheels...sweet car, do a search for carbon hatch). as for glass, you can use OEM glass so you keep your defroster or you can use a FAL lexan rear window but be prepaired for scratches in th4e lexan if the car is a daily driver and you don't clean it with a soft rag or microfiber cloth.

the glass is what makes the hatch really heavy...

haha... actually i was just curious... i think a cf hood is only as far as i would go... i was thinking that maybe over time the heavy glass would make the cf hatch crack from use.
