Default Struts for a lowered teg?

My struts are gone in the back which explains some of my recent problems. Anyway, I was 2 seconds from getting blues when a friend said they wear fast on a lowered teg, is this true? If so, what are good struts to get? I want to get quality, but not pay a crazy amount. I searched a bit, but only saw info on not buying blues if you are lowered and not what to get instead
edit: Also, I only need rears, I'm sure they only come in pairs, so that I don't bave to buy fronts right?
edit2: Also, a place to buy them from would be nice

I would highy advise buying all 4 shocks. If you are lowered now and the stock front shocks are not blown yet, they probably will soon enough. Might as well replace them all at once.

Most people will say KYB AGX's are a good bang for the buck, I think the set of 4 is around $300 most places.

My Tokico "Blues" have lasted ~90K miles so far. No signs of failure but they are a bit soft for me. Car is lowered ~1.75" and used to be routinely autoXed. Plan on getting back into it, so I'll probably replace the shocks w/AGX's.

My car uses tokico blues (also lowered 1.75) and i am still amazed at how comfortable and stable my car rides over bumps after two years.

I drove in lowered honda's that would jar you silly and rattle your fillings loose. KYB AGX's are good shocks that ride hard even on their softest setting. its great for autox but not for a daily driver IMHO.

I would recommend the tokico's if you dont go beyond 1.75 or koni's.

dang you have soft tastes huh? I've been daily driving Koni Yellows for almost 2 years now. They're awesome, too bad my springs are crap.

My friend had Neuspeed Race on Tokico Blues and it was extreme crap, very horrible ride.

I guess I'll try tokico blues on my eibach springs, thanks for the help. Oh and I know this should be a pm, but integnyc, what tails are those on your teg? Those would look sweet on my white teg, might pick some up

I find my koni yellows a bit for aggressive for daily driving.

I do 100 km a day, and the roads here are the worst. It just gets
a little annoying, its by no means harsh though.

You should see the roads in Jackson MS, the soil around here is pretty unstable, and makes for very uneven and horrible roads.

Yeah it sucks, and there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Are you still
running your H&R sports?

I think I'm getting a digicam for xmas, I think I'll snap some pics of the
roads around here for kicks... maybe it's not so bad compared to others.

I think everywhere has some shity roads and some goods roads, our setups just make us notice the shity ones a lot more

I got GC coil overs with Tokico Blues, about 1.5 drop front and back, only been on for about a year, it is pretty bumpy, but I bought them for, a stiffer ride so I got what I wanted

good handling=stiff ride (in hondas at least)

yes i discovered that agx's aren't as soft as they can be. either that, or it takes a while to fully adjust settings
