adjustable fuel pressure reg.?
well typical rule of thumb, is to add 2psi to your stock fuel pressure for every mod (if you do the math). so when installing you add the gauge 1st figure out what your stock Fp is then add 2psi for every mod. (eg..i/h/e would be 6psi) but in all actuality the best way to do this would be to strap it on the Dyno and tune it.
Well, my 89 Civic Si has a intake and exhaust, but I'm in the process of doing a mini-me swap. How much psi would I add for the swap? Should I start at the 92-95 Ex/Si stock psi and then add 4 psi for the intake and exhaust?
if you get the stock fpr from the z6 it will have more flow than the stock d16a6 fpr.... i belive the d16a6 fpr flows at 34-39 and the d16z6 flows 41-47..... im not 100% sure on those #'s but they are close...
The color of your spark plugs will be the finale say, as to how much fuel pressure you will be running/needing. Spend the bucks for a B&M CommandFLO and their Fuel Pressure Set to get a gauge. That way, you will be able to fine tune the pressure, instead of going with a stock regulator, which you cannot adjust.
