sny one have battery relocation tips?

Default any one have battery relocation tips?

i need to relocate my battery to the trunk to make room for the turbo filter. Any one done this before have sizes for the battery cables or know where to get a kit for cheap? if any one has pics email em to me please.

I used 2 or 3 guage wire, can't remember for sure. I got one size larger than what was already on the battery. Make sure your battery connection is real good. You might need to go to a stereo shop and get a set of battery connectors from them.

I mounted mine right below the jack and ran the wire under the carpet along the passenger side. Sorry, no pics.

use a sealed battery or you will risk venting hydrogen gas into your cabin

when mine was relocated in my hatchback i used the summit racing aluminum battery box. looked great instead of those cheap plastic boxes. and you need a kill swich if you want to take it on the track, that's what i hear, not 100% positive though. Might as well put one in just in case, you never know.

This is my thread the I created for a relocated battery it has pics. And you'll have more than enough from for a turbo if you relocate the battery and remove the AC.
