Its a shortlist on the two choices I have nailed down. I may be able to get 03's if they are worth it. Yoko's are out as I hate them in the wet, Dunlops are out as they are also nasty in the wet and I have had a set of them.

Will be running 195/55/15 standard sizes

IMHO, RE010s would be the best for anything but snow.

Where are you getting S02 and F1s in 195/55-15?

IHMO, the Yoko ES100 is hands down the best bargain in that size for $58 @ Tirerack.

I have to agree the Yokohama ES100 is a great tire, wet included. I drive them everyday.

I don't think most of us are satisfied with the options you presented.

This is the good one (GSD2)

This is the bad one (GSD3)

Yeah, it`s good on wet and grips fine as long as it doesn`t heat up... It`s like the Toyo T1S. Once it`s heaten up, the GSD3 feels like soap.

The GSD2 is more stiff and needs more heat to grip. But once hot, it`s very sticky and doesn`t get slippery.. It`s more track-capable.

I owned both.

I didn't read that he was looking for track tires. I think the GSD3's properties are fine on the street.

Cheers for the response....I have ordered the Bridgestones as 90% of all the people who I know that have used them tell me they are the ****, but they wear heavily. As its all nasty weather here in Yurp at the moment they will be fine.

End of the day the state of my Dunlops are appauling, shamed pics to follow

Au contraire, mon ami*, Great Britain is indeed a full member of the European Union.

* Note use of French, to the eternal consternation of English speakers.
