HELP, car kind of stutters when i apply slight gas.
car = 90 crx s1 w/ you guessed it a b16a.
ok this is kinda hard to explain so i will do my best. say im driving down the street goin about 40mph, and i want to speed up just a little to say 45, and i give it a little gas. when i do this the car almost doesnt want to go, it stutters briefly then goes and drives normal.
now my question is what could cause this, BUT i have been working on it for about 3 weeks now, there are NO bad sensors, NO missing or wrong vaccum lines, timing is perfect, new distributor, new belt, injectors have been tested, o2's have been replaced, and just about every other thing i could think of has been done.
now i do have a vafc, could that have something to do with this? every other aspect of this car is perfect, it idles great and very very smooth. it revs very smooth also.
thanks for your help, any questions just ask and i will try to answer then the best i can.

Its the B16a first gen. Myth. I swear every 1st gen. block does this. And only way I have seen it gone is to get a 1.8L block or even maybe a second gen b16 block

brand new plugs and wires, gapped correctly, and i just checked all the wiring, well most of it anyway, wanted to make sure the vafc and a couple other hunches where all correct..... oh well, im gonna triple check the timimg tomorrow maybe its a little retarded? i dont know... thanks for your help.
check your tps. if you are opening the throttle and it isnt registering on the TPS then youll get more air but not more fuel. i think on B series you can adjust them because i always hear about "adjusting" your tps. D series are all riveted into the throttle body
