crx problem

Default crx problem

in my 88 crx dx with dohc zc It guts out when at complete stop and when its in neutral and i give it a lil gas it cuts out.

What could it be?

bad gas?
Injectors need cleaning?

Any idea's

A sensor on the Intake mani was unplugged so that fixed most of the boggin

But I have another problem now I installed new clutch and dx tranny on the zc dohc motor and when I shift it doesnt grab like I expect its like it kinda slips

I have it where it grabs about half way out on hte clutch

I assume your clutch is bad then.

Change the clutch.

BTW it could be that that clutch cant handle the added torque from the ZC....but I doubt it.

Its a brand new clutch kit it shouldnt be bad, and I dont think its the torque. Maybe it just needs to be broke in lol

depends on your clutch install....if you got any oil or grease on it....or if the flywheel wasnt machiened etc....all this can affect your clutch's grabbing power


Was the pressure palte changed....what do you mean by it not grabbing enough?

no i havnt really allowed any break in time, no launching or anything i kinda got on it but it was just down the street other then that its been sitting

Im gonna just allow break in time now
