Default Cluster Swap Question

I am contemplating doing the GSR Cluster swap in my CRX, I do have one question though.

I have a B16 in my car, and Vtec will not engage unless the car is moving. now will the New cluster send the information to the ECU that the car is moving.

In otherwords will i lose vtec by putting this cluster in ?

thanks

no, vtec is engaged by the ecu at a certain rpm. might want to do some searching for some general knowledge before you do the cluster swap.

Vtec Engage ONLY if the car is in motion ( if you are using a Pr3 or PW0 ecu) and it taped in to the speedo, I know because when I did the swap The speed sensor was not Properly put in (not working) for a few days and vtec did not engage.

if you have a car with vtec that is not activated with an RPM switch it will not activate in a Parked position. Since I will be changing the VSS to a Electronic one and changing the cluster I wonder if Vtec will still engage.

You Might want to do some research before you talk about something you obviously have no Idea about!
