Default mitsubishi turbo on lude

what kind of mitsubishi turbo would be good to slap on to a H23A1 (auto). I am going to do some kind of project with my lude. im putting my own cheaper turbo kit on it.

Also, I bought some unothodox racing pullies (alt, ps, crank) I have not installed them yet. Will they give me a good amount of power.

everything he said.

if you cant afford to boost properly, you cant afford to boost. it is expensive and can easily turn into a black hole for your wallet.
do your research, A LOT of research.

Search, it's been covered before.

If you're gonna do this, you use the turbo and manifold from either a 1st or 2nd gen turbo DSM. The first gen's used a 14b, and the second gen's used a T25....the 14b is more desirable.....and I have a 14b DSM manifold for sale!

dont even plan to have a turbo with a limited budget, sure you can build a junk yard setup but you gonna have alot of tuning done if you want the motor to last.
I am not hating on turbo, my pos is turbo'ed before.

you can use dsm manifold on some F series, I am not sure about on h23 tho'
a t3t04 would be the ideal size of snail, but besure to beef'ed up your tranny, coz the bands and servo gonna take a dump on you if you boosting anything more than 7 psi

dont expect the pulley would give you mad vtecH powa, it's a honda, no singel one bolt on mod would give you alot of power.
unlike the turbo supra, which get 100+ just for bolt ons

a little list if you looking for custom turbo

Must:
manifold
intercooler piping
intercooler
downpipe
BOV
Turbo
all the gaskets
Map sensor bypass(fish tank valves)
warlbro fuel pump
Fuel management unit
colder spark plug
boost gauge
wastegate(or internal wg)
oil line(supply/return)
silicone fastener w/ clamps

optional goodie
hondata/aem ems/apexi vafc
test pipe(with o2 sensor bypass or hondata)
free flow exhasut
alot of money
dyno tuning
a/f gauge(better than nothing)
exhaust gas temp guage
obd1 conversion
5speed tranny with beefier clutch
oil cooler
ATF cooler(for autotrans)
total boost by corky bell(a book by the king of turbo)

that's all i remember top of my head..ar..custom turbo should run you about 1500-1700, know how to weld would be VERY helpful.

H23 is good with boost, that's what i been told, I am an accord guy anyway.

The DSM mani will fit onto the H23 AND F22 heads, you just gotta redrill the head bolts(no sweat). The turbo WILL be smallish, but it'll do the job, and will give good gains for the money. This turbo will give very good low-end w/ no lag, but will die out a bit on the top end.

And yes, a budget turbo setup can be done reliably. I would get:

DSM Turbo and mani, DSM 450cc injectors w/ AFC hack, adj. FPR, DSM metal BOV, and big volvo/NPR/starion i/c......done right, it will give modest gains at a modest price.

The F22 that comes in the Prelude, and I think the Accord, uses the same port design as the H23, just maybe different headbolts. The Accord guys have been doing this budget boost setup for a long time, and the F22 can make about 200hp on this setup due to the motor's design.
