I was talking to the salesman and they have 3 R's. The price for the yellow one that I want is 25,000 and that was what he told me. He said that it is negotiable but not by much... I asked him can I have some of what he's smoking
. I told him that the price is rediculous and thats the reason why you have 3 that has been their 2 months
. It has 35,xxx miles on it and it's a 2000.
Here's the link for more details

How much is this R worth? KBB says 16K
I really want it but for the price I'll get something else.

i say if you want a R, don't get it at the stealership. check autotrader and the right one will come along. also check the HT classified section. i know of 2 CW R's for sale now.

I've got good APR with American Honda Finance thats why I kinda have to get it from a dealer. Isn't the msrp 25K when the first released it?
Exactly. I would trust someone on here before the dealership. The dealership usually has no idea what the car has been through. You can most likely find an **** R owner that has kept the car pristine. Just wait for it.

man buy one from canada i saw one in the autotrader for $20,000 and change a 2001 with 24,000 km that`s less than 16000 miles.someone on here told the way to import from canada
35,000 miles. I would think someone could sell it for $20,000.
Where did you find the KBB value?
When I tried it, it said,
"No Value Available
At this time Kelley Blue Book does not have the necessary data to assess this vehicle. Ample turnover must occur in the marketplace before Kelley Blue Book can report a value for this vehicle. "
A 97 was just posted forsale in VA for $14,000 which is an awesome deal. Only thing is someone thinks its been wrecked once, and dragraced a lot.

Values on KBB are notoriously inaccurate for low-volume specialty cars like the ITR.
I agree with jond. A fair price for the car is somewhere around $20K, give or take, assuming it's in excellent condition and doesn't have a lot of poorly-chosen mods.

Yeah Davis Acura in P.A. has 3 R's 1 yellow 2 black. I spoke to one salesman today and he was just rapping about how nice the car is and that they only made 2500 R's, it's more of a investment, that he sold 6 in the last year all around the 24-25k range, yada yada yada alot of BS...
I told him 20k and I'll pick it up this weekend, can't do it. He said that he'll meet me in the middle, I'll see when I check it out this saturday. He did say that it has 7 year 100k warranty on it though.

Davis Acura is in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, northeast of Philadelphia. It's named after the owner, who has been a competition racer for many years.

$25,000 for a 2000 ITR.
Yikes. I only paid $21,000 for #1391 in 2001. Man they are trying to rape someone. Try autotrader.com. That's where I got mine. The owner even offered to purchase my plane ticket since the car was out of state.

Plus the extended warantee. Thats worth $1-2k.
So really they're not making much money. Cars always cost more from dealers. This isnt anything new.

The salesman said that he'll meet somewhere in the middle of what I offered him and what his price was. Which is 22,500
I'm gonna go through the whole process of buying the car, meaning credit check, paper work then when they calculate my monthly payments I'm gonna back out and say that thats to much
hopefully it works.

Sounds like you like it, and you should go for what you like ...
But, personally, I wouldn't get the car for that price. You can get one for much cheaper, albeit with a bit higher miles.

Im askin 12k for mine with 105k miles. Nada has trade in value from $9300-$12,900 with the mileage.
So I figure with my car $12k would be fair.
