i'm about to swap a 95 b18c1 into a 91 hatchback.
i have the following ready at hand :

skunk2 intake manifold
type r t-body
91 si wiring hardness
axles
shift linkage
cable tranny
pw0
jdm b16 dizzy


i have a lot at hand but i need to know if i'm missing anything, mostly motor mounts. seeing what ones i need too get and also i think i need new injectors also, something like dsm injectors because on the year. also i'm i going to run into any problems with the exhaust (ie header). can anybody help me out? thanks for h-t!!

 

yes...be careful with the header...it will be cutting it close to the cross member...make sure you have the right throttle cable and brakcet for the manifold and don't forget to change the oil and **** like that!! also..the radiator hoses might be different if i'm not mistaken..no big deal though. good luck to you!

You'll need an aftermarket EF B series mount kit (HASport, HCP, etc.) and a matching shift linkage or a modded 90-93 Integra linkage. You also need the 90-93 Integra driver's side mount bracket and rear mount bracket, which will then work with the aftermarket mount kit you use.
If the car isn't a Si, which I assume it's not since you have "Si harness" on your parts list, you will need to reuse your stock engine harness and rewire it for MPFI. You will use the clips and some wiring from the Si harness. The Si harness will not plug into a DPFI chassis.
If you are running an OBD0 PW0 ECU then you'll need some injectors from a 88-91 Civic/CRX Si, OBD0 SiR/XSi or 90-91 Integra LS and also use an injector resistor box. The DSM's are way too much for that unless you are running a turbo or other FI setup.
You will need to rewire the Coolant temp switch which will now be on the thermostat housing on the B18C1 instead of the back of the block on your stock motor. Extend the wiring for the O2 sensors and have an exhaust shop make holes with threaded nuts for both. The B18C1 stock header doesn't have holes for an O2 sensor. It would be best to have one in the header primaries and the other at the end or on your cat/exhaust after the flange. You will need other misc. things like Integra radiator hoses, proper throttle cable, etc.

 

Right now I am doing a B18C1 in a 89 CRX HF,the things we ran into are as follows;bought a ITR throtle cable,take the header off when swapin in the motor,as Miracle X said you will HAVE to cut the front mount off and about 1" notch into the X-member(depending on what header you are using-we are using a Dc 4-1)-I have pics I can Email you, I dont know how to post pics here. Also you will need SI hubs for the larger B18 axles. Hope that helps some...

That's only if the car is a 4 speed STD. The DX models have the same hubs as the Si.

OBD0 and OBD1 have the same plug style.
