Default For all you 13 sec club members

I have a question for any TypeR/GSR 13sec 1/4 mile member. What wheel hp do you think it takes to have a 13sec integra all motor?? I know there is more to the equation: suspension, weight, ect.......but am looking to get an approx. whp figure. I am currently pushing 178whp in my 2000 GSR. I am rolling on 16" SSR Schumachers with Yokohoma A520's. My friend has a brand new Audi S4 Quatro AWD Turbo and i pull on him in 3rd gear. The S4 is suppose to run a 14.00 1/4 according to Motortrend. What do you think???? Thanks

jeff

170-180hp with about 125-130lbt should be enough for 13s.
The rest is all driver and chassis.

Is this with a full interior?

So, comptech icebox, jdm 4-1 header, exhaust and advanced timing = potential 13s?

I know the chassis and cars are a little different, but with my R motor in my 94 civic coupe, I am running 13.6 w/ 183 whp. That's on 15" Volk's with only the pass and rear seats removed. Not that they would make that much difference.

I second what Sgt said. 180 whp = high 13's in a full weight Teg. Low 13's in a Civic HB.

I dynoed in at 176hp and 121tq and run mid 13's with full interior and full exhaust. This is with slicks. Open header I run low 13's. My civic coupe weighs as much as a Teg.

My time is below. That is with 178-182whp on street tires.I had the rear interior pulled out. With better traction I would be in the 13's.

What is a common set up for high 13's? 4-1 header, test pipe/hf cat, exhaust, timing advanced, intake should be enough for high 13's? IF so then that's all i'm ever gonna mod on my engine considering I don't like dragging all that much.

WTF??

Steve, my R has 171 whp and 125tq with just an intake and timing advance...are you saying I could break into the 13's with some decent driving?

Damn...

I'm happy. Thanks Sakai.

I can't believe that with 200 bux in mods I have a potential 13-second car.

Considering your car cost $25k, I'd sat $200 is just about right to have a 13 second car.

Sakai! Are you boosted now?
