I have a line on a armrest with a ashtray on the back of it are is it a JDM one or US/Canada one??? which one is more rare? I haven't heard much on the ashtray ones or do all them have one? Thanks Rob

Yes, I've been telling people about these armrest they do exist. The only information I was given was that is was supposedly JDM, I had to reupholster the top.

Does anyone know where this came from?

I believe that the REALLY rare one is the one with an ashtray AND a lighter. I'm not sure about the one you have though... I don't have an armrest and I haven't seen if the JDM one has the ashtray.

i have one fs its painted but can be stripped off and painted with black plastic paint (lowes) and will look brand new

wtf is everyone so hyped up about?...sure an armrest may be nice but one with an ashtray? who the F is back there smokin!?!?! theres certainely not a seat back there and whos lettin people smoke in the precious EF ?

 

Don't have to use it to hold ashes, can use to hold "important" stuff

I don't see how this was modified, since everything lined up, I just had to make a bracket for underneath so it could screw in over the e-brake assembly. And if it is a Teg armrest, someone post pics of it, because I seen the DA armrest, and it doesn't sit as high as this one.

 

Arm Rests came in a few models of CRXs in North America. For some reason or another they were only included with the higher interior trim level. That is why they are so hard to come by. Once again you can try eBay or a JDM site. You could also get an Acura Integra (94-98) arm rest and put it in your CRX. It fits fine.

i just scored my crx armrest almost brand new in a Honda package. Here's some pics





I actually liked my teg arm-rest a little better. It sat further up then this one does. Was a little more comfortable, but didn't fit quite right.

I got my armrest from this kid who found it in the trunk when he got his crx. I guess the original owner never installed it, and threw it back there. No ashtray though

paid $50 for it
