Wheels?
I'm about to buy wheels for my 91 crx, it's gonna have kyb adjustable shocks, ground control coilovers, and teg brakes. I was going to put 17" ADR wheels on it but my friends think i should do 15s or 16s. I want the car to be low, but handling is most important. What size, and what brand would you suggest?
Depending on the driving you are trying to accomplish. 15's with 195/50/15 will get you outa the hole quicker, lowering your gearing. Where the 205/50/15 are better for grip, wider. I like the feel of 15's on a Crx's

I would personally suggest 15s because they have a larger and cheaper selection of tires. Brand is your personal preference.
Get 16s if you want the look of big wheels, and don't mind spending extra or having a crappy tire selection. Proportion-wise, 16s on a 4th-gen Civic look about the same as 17s on a 6th-gen Civic . . . anything bigger than 16s on a G4 looks silly if you ask me.

Honestly, I think 17's are too big and heavy for such a small car. I would go with 16's of the selected wheel that you like if they make it. 15's are my favorite, good looks with great tire selection and relatively light weight.

it's not about what other people like man. i had 17's on my hatch Konig Imagines (dark opal) running a conservative eibach spring and they looked great. you also might want to take into account that having a low profile tire like a 205/40-17 isn't going to have a lot of sidewall so you'll be bending the insides of your wheel lips if you don't pay attention to the street conditions. i'm tired of big wheels robbing power so i'm saving for some old sko0' 15" mugens or 16" spoons.
good luck with whatever decision you finally come to.
