won't shift from park to drive help
i just changed the egnition swich but the elecrtical part of it. now i did the work my self but during the instalation i did something wrong i don't know what but now when i try to put the shift from park to drive the shitt doesn't move. it stays in park. i have a automatic transmision. it won't leave the P (park) thing. now the brake light don't turn on when i brake and there is no horn anymore. what did i **** up that this **** happens. what wires do i have to check or conect so i can shift from park to drive and the brake light to come wheni brake help it seems the car is leaving me. 90 accord ex help please i have all day tomorrow to fix the problem so i will need all the help u guys can spare. thank u
i just changed the egnition swich but only the electric part of ilt. now do u guys know where to look to see if the **** ( automatic) wire is disconected from underneath the steering wheel whare all the relays are. help i can't move the car without two keys help
I had the same problem. I could not pull the car out of park and the brake lights stopped working. I researced for abit and found out it was caused by the a bad brake switch. I replaced it and everything works fine now.
hey solo that is what i am right now man. i just read the manual but i will need some help to find where the brake relay is man. because the brake light don't work too man. plus the horn and now my cd player wont work. give me an idea to what does it look like and where can i find it. a serial number of that might halp too thanks
did you touch wires with something?
Check your fuses.. see if that helps..
i did this while changing my door panel and my interior lights, map and others didnt work. or that little ding ding.. headlight charm..

Ok if you get on your back and look under the dash above the brake pedal you will see a switch there. there are four wires going into it. When hit the brake it depreses this switch. I bought one from the honda dealer for $53.

ok i found the problem my bro changed the fuses place when i had the egnition swich problem and he forgat to put them in their places. (don't ask why) now when i start the car i will hear this continius clicking noise like the clicking of the turn signal. now when i push the butten of the turn signal the clicking noise is going to be ok as it should be. but after turn off the turn signal i will hear this continious clikcing noise. now i foudn the relay and i can feel the clicking what i don't know is who has the problem the relay or the swich wich is near the steering wheel/. the swich near the steering wheel get hot after a while.. i had a alarm sistem before should i connect the alarm sistem then see if it does it again if its the relay how can i take it off because itryed and tryed but no result. help this is my last problem help
sure u got the fuses in the right place?? or is your wiring right?? only thing that i can think of causing that "clicking" sound is either one of those i think... do u see the turn signal lights go off when its "clicking" ?

no man it doesn't do it. but only once the left one was working but just a glimce of the light. i just want to be sure which one is broken so i can get a new one and how can i take the turn light realy off because i tryed but i couldn't get it off .
anyone knows how can i get off the turning sighnal relay of if u guys know what is the problem with the clicking noise because it fucked up my whole car man please help
