Adjusting Cam Gears
I have a b16a JDM motor with type R cams in it. Just put adjustable Cam Gears on it, and am trying to tune it in. Need help. full exhaust done header to tip everything has been changed. Currently Intake is at 5 degrees adv. the exhaust is at 5 degrees retard. Is that good or bad, b/c with both at 0 the car ran horrible.
Thanks, Tintman

It sounds as if there was a problem with the installation.

Yeah, might want to make sure the TDC mark on the crank pulley corresponds with the TDC marks on the gears.
