can't adjust skunk2 camber kit?
i finished installing the skunk2 front camber kit, the one where you have to use the 5/8" allen wrench to turn the 4 screws to slide it up/down to adjust the camber... and i just took it to the shop, they said they couldnt do an alignment because they couldn't fit the allen wrench in the gap above the wheel to turn the screws and there wasn't enough room to even turn the wrench.. anyone else have this problem??? anyone know what i can do? thanks
i remember Marcos (one of our techs) said that the upper tie-rod was messed up or broken or something..he said that last time you came in we couldnt do it then either...not sure. I was getting off work when you were leaving so i couldnt stick around to see but i guess i'll hear about it tomorrow. sorry bro
yea i just read that, but they couldn't adjust the toe or the camber, cuz they couldnt even reach the screws cuz their hands were too damn big

Some shops has the alignment machine that could rise the car.( left the car off the machine) it is almost impossible to do it with the car sitting on the machine. look at the reading first and to see how much you need to adjust, jack it up in the air. look at the readings again and adjust. let the car down to confirm it. That's way to do it.

If it's a Hunter machine made not too long ago, it should have a hydraulic lift near the front, which can lift the car slightly (tires stilll touching the adjustment plates) so that the screws can be adjusted.
But this is one of the main reasons why I don't want a camber kit, so that whoever doing my alignment doesn't have to deal with stuff like this.

whenever i adjust my camber, i have to jack the front of the car up to get at the allen bolts -- my car is dropped too low to fit my hand up there.
i use a digital camber gauge, not a rack, before anyone asks.

hmmm...it is a Hunter and it also does lift in the front and the back...honestly, i've been with these guys long enough, almost a year and a half now, imo i think they just too lazy. dont tell them i said that but, i kno how they can be. It isnt like everyday that they deal with lowered imports so it might just be a little difficult for them to adjust but im almost sure if they had to, they could.
but like i've said, i will find out exactly why they cant do it.
