How much oil for a 90 CRX Si?

I am about to change the oil in the crx for the first time and i wanted to know how much oil does it require? thank you for your help.

4 quarts should fill it up - maybe another half, depending on how much gets into the filter

that much?
i seem to remember that my friend only puts in like 3 or 3 1/2 qts. in his civic ex. seems like they should be the same amount. ???

When i change my oil, i always dump in 4 quarts. Brings it right up to the top level.
