Default what products are good to stop vibrating?

i recently got a system, and now, i can hear a whole lot of vibrating in the trunk and the rear. mostly from the rear, i think it's behind the seatbelt hook on the panel. and my rear licence plate is vibrating like a bi0tch. there is only 2 screw's holding it in from the top. the reason i don't have any for the bottom, because there is no holes for it, should i just drill my own holes? and what products are good to stop the vibrating noises??

just find exactly where its vibrating and take it off and use double sided tape, foam, rubber, anything to put in between. don't waste your money on dynamat, it is for sound deadining. you need to just rig something up in there to stop it

A cheap alternative is peel and seal from Home Depot.
One of the stereo people's tricks to save money on dampening.
Stuff works and is cheap.

for your license plate use zip ties, they absorb the shock

bump, i just found out what was rattling the most. it's the rear piece in the back. i have a 95' civic coupe...it's like a rear panel, where the 3rd brake light is. sorry if this is kind of vague...but i don't really know how to explain it. is there a way i can tighten it or something?

thats what rattles in my accord. that and the B pillars. my third brake light rattled pretty bad but what i did is took it off and cut out little pieces of rubber and put them between the body and the screws. and cut a little piece of polyfill foam and put it underneath. it worked really good and it doesn't rattle anymore. next week i'm gonna take off the rear deck and B pillars and fix the rattles with some foam and those little pad things that go on the bottom of your furniture to keep from scratching the floor.
