Default Help me decide Go Supercharge or Stay NA

Well I am running 11.5 cr. JE pistons standard bore, crower connecting rods, Crower stage 2 cams Vtec controller. Im not satified with the power.. I still have to get my head work done.. But lately.. I feel like I want a supercharger.. BOOST.. No i dont care for turbos..

What do you think? I know its money to resleeve..Not problem for me to do it again but is Jackson supercharger worth the head aches?

Hmm... I wonder how much HP you would make if you slapped on a supercharger and sold your cams and put in stockers. Hmm... I dont know i wonder if it would be dangerous. Ask Sharkcohen.

Im not looking to GO fast.. Just peppy.. Or I could send my head off to Port flow and take my chances.. If i can get to 200 hp to the wheels Ill be happy.. Hell 195 to the wheels its all good.

Im sure with the supercharger you would be much happier. Find out how you would do wiht the supercharger on your bottom end with stock cams, if its a bad combo trade someone plus money for their stock bottom end and then supercharge it. WIth a supercharger you get torque which i think would be the "pep" you are asking for.

you need to get a hondata setup and tune it. but before you do that get a header like an anr or hytech. build a custom 2 1/2 in. mandrel bent exhaust with a straight through muff. and a magnaflow resonator. you have all the right stuff for 200 whp or very close to that. you will be suprised if you stick with it.

Yea man but you gotta take into consideraton he has an auto. n/a is just not his bag man. I think he should just get a kamikazie header and jrsc and trade bottom ends or keep the one he has(if it will work) and sell the cams. Put it back together. Talk to sharkcohen i dont know what he uses for fuel management but he could help you out because he has an SS too. SUcks for you guys not being able to use hondata thougn. Good luck.

WTF, you are only making 184 to the wheels with 11.5:1 compression? You need to get a standalone and get tuned.

I don't have any numbers, I've street tuned it myself and haven't dyno'd it. The motor is stock, and I'm using the EFI PMS.

Sure it would, so would the EFI PMS. Take it from someone who has a supercharged auto, don't do it, it's not worth the trouble. You've already dumped a ton of money into the car as it is, if you are not happy with it sell it and buy a factory turbo car.
