Do you trust your car with your wife or girlfriend?
Would you let her drive your ITR, BMW, Merc, or any of your car?
I know she can drive my cars any time. After last night, I knew that the cost of driving school she attended did not go into waste.

NO...not at all, not when it comes to driving...especially when I look at her rims I got her for her Del Sol (not expensive, but she liked em) 6 months ago and I see that 3 of the 4 have huge chunks out of them from her hitting ****...
not gonna happen to my spoonies...
although she knows this and doesn't press to drive it, anymore
HOWEVER, she said that when I propose to her, I am to have the ring in one hand and the keys to the Type R in the other b/c that's when she gets to drive it once...

my X used to drive my black ´00 VTi hatchback, with full bodykit and 17" and that was pretty cool..
best thing I heard was "there was this guy on a Celica reving hard on me (she was also with her girlfriend) so I decided to open up a can of whoopass of him!" and she did, the boy on the 00 Celica was embarresed by two girls in a Honda
but I´ve been single quite most of time I had my ITR so...

I let my ex drive my motor...
She hated it, thought she broke it, couldn't drive stick, stalled it, couldn't handle the clutch and was genrally terrified she was going to crash, followed shortly thereafter by her death at my hands...
It was great. However, she wouldn't try again.

Nope, Beth knows to stay away from the Type R. But I let her drive the wagon and the Scout. Mmm, chick driving a lifted truck. Droool
My wife doesn't even want to drive the R - I think it scares her. The headaches she gets when she rides in it may have something to do with that...
I should probably let the punk answer this...but I know he trusts me. On our second date, he let me drive his 67 fastback around town...WITH his friends around. I knew that had to take guts, especially since he restored that car from the ground up. He also lets me drive the ITR whenver, so I know he knows that I woulnd't do anything stupid. Besides, he loves to see me kick other guys's asses in HIS cars! lol, HE'S a keeper.
My ex likes to drive mine (CRX not ITR). When I was in Cali for the summer she offered to drive it around but I didn't let her. Haha. She curbed my first set of wheels about a month after I got them, parallel parking. She hit it and it started to scrape and I freaked out and told her to stop but she just said, "It's not the rim it's the tire." On 205/40/16s there isn't much curb protection. Needless to say she severely scuffed about 2/3 of the rim's edge. They were white wheels and the damage was very evident. That's why she's my ex.

I told my wife she can drive the R if she wants but she always declines to drive it on the street. She says she even hates parking next to it in the garage for fear of damaging it. She has however driven it on both Waterford Hills and Gingerman On Oct 6-7 she will have a chance to drive it on Grattan. She is not super fast, but she is so smooth on the track, no testosterone, and no preconceived ideas.
I just remembered Fais (speedpak) actually let my wife drive his 98 ITR at the SCCA autocross school a couple of years ago when we were instructing there. My 98 had a blown motor at the time and Fais offered to let her drive it
for him

When we got our roadster last year, she(my wife) was still a substitute teacher for a local highschool. At 22, she looks like 16, she got pickup by the security guard mistaken her for a highschool student. So, she gets rev at almost everyday after school by highschool ricer racer. It used to be worse with my moded GSR(she did not like that car very much) before I traded it in for the roadster. Now, she is a elementary school teacher, no more revving from highschool student but she get more attention from guy in truck or construction people. That's why we went to driving school together so I can feel more comfortable if she know the physic of driving.
I've never let my girlfriend drive mine yet. She has been begging since the day I bought it. She knows how to drive a stick but she has several accidents and stuff so I'm a bit reluctant right now. We've actually got into a lot of fights over it, about me trusting her and stuff. Maybe someday soon...

Me EX was too afraid to drive it...I think the howl of the motor in VTEC was what scared her the most.

I let my g/f drive it... only on the freeway.
My gf cant drive a 5 speed...Ive been waiting to teach her in my car but shes afraid she will mess something up
and break the car...but I told her its under warranty right now so she better hurry up and WANT to learn...
As a side note, my gf was SO happy to buy a ITR t-shirt at the SLOPI show and now wears it all the time. Some guys
stopped her in Home Depot and asked her if she owned a ITR...she said "no, but my boyfriend does!"
