Default Lighting problem....

Since I got the car I noticed when switching the light to side light position the headlights turn on too. So it doesnt matter weather I put it in first or second position. The headlights come on at first. Does anybody know what I should look for and where I should look to figure out this wiring problem? Anyone else have the same problem or had the same problem? TIA!

First thing to do is to look at the wiring diagram in your service manual to see what feeds what.

Do you have a service manual?

Is this a US car? Or Canadian?

How long have you had the car?

Has car been wrecked?

What kind of car are we talking about here? What year /model, etc.

I think "Alan Wil" was trying to help but he needed some more info. Now that you totally ignored him, that makes you look like an ***.

You are correct… Needed some more info.

On a related note….

As a suggestion to ALL those here, how about adding to your "signs" what kind /year car(s) you have. It is helpful when trying to diagnose problems and such. Most of the Honda stuff is pretty similar but there are differences from year to year.
