Integra brakes on CRX
i have a crx hf with si knuckles.... before it i had gsr knuckles and we were running the gsr brakes too....i wanna put on the gsr brakes but the caliper touches the rotor....and it wont bolt in because of that....what do i have to do to make it fit because i heard a lot of people run integra brakes on their crx's...
i did...the thing is that the toe was off so they could never align it .....i donno how you did yours or who did it but they couldnt ...plus its from a wrecked car and it got banged on the passenger side...so the camber was like -6 degrees off...and that sucked a hella lot....oh and what year did u get the knuckles from?
You have to use the whole hub, and knuckle from the Integra setup. You also have to make sure that it's not bent, which more than likely yours is.
I have this setup in my 91 HF, and it aligned just fine. I haven't had any problems with any weird handling or anything.
There is another thread in here going on about this, and it's pretty long. Do a search, as it has some good info.

PS: PLEASE POST YOUR ALIGNMENT SPECS... So far RedBaron has been the only person to post specs! Be sure to list the year/model car /ride height.. and driving impressions after the swap. Pleae note if your having problems little details like the donor (or target) car had been wrecked, etc !

Good point…
As a suggestion to ALL those here, how about adding to your "signs" what kind /year car(s) you have, and if you have hybrid car with non-stock components post what your running.
It is helpful when trying to diagnose problems and such. Most of the Honda stuff is pretty similar but there are differences from year to year, and car to car.

How about posting your specs in this thread. Please post your alignment settings /year of car /year/type of the donor parts... and of course your impressions after the swap on how the car drives.
PS: Please note at what ride height your car is at.

crap...i think its from a 94 or 95 integra.....
but anyways...i kinna dont really want to put it back on or find another one cuz i dont wanna pay for alignment and it wont even go straight ...again...
so maybe i'll just find me some si calipers and rotors and slap um on...and the people i went to to align it said they couldnt make it straight...but they could just be lazy

Or else you can go back to the stock Si assembly...
