B16A3 from china???

ok...my friend says my B16A3 block is from china cause the guy who did my swap said he imported it from china. so ....does china make B16A3 motors? are the B16A3 only usdm motors? i'm pretty sure they are...but my friend thinks other wise. does the B16A3 motor come in any other cars besides a USDM car?

it has a pr3 ecu...redlines at 7600rpm...meaning its a auto jdm ecu correct? my friend says it could be an auto b16 motor from china? can this be?

Del Sol VTEC motor = 100% USDM

I doubt it is from China since they get their cars from Japan and in Japan it's just B16A.

last time i knew jdm motors didnt have numbers after the letters.

Jdm=b16, b18c, b20z, d15b, h22a, etc
usdm=b16a2,3 b18c1, b18c5, d15b2,7,8 etc, h22a4 blah blah blah

i hate being one of those guys...but search goddamnit

Having a bad day because your fat friend doesnt believe you? Maybe the motor was imported from the usa, then eventually sent back to the usa.

So the shoes I am wearing now are not truely from BRAZIL, since I bought them here in the U.S.

Just because that guy said it came from China, which could have been the case, it still doesnt change the fact that Honda of Japan manufactured it.
