Default icebox installed but my AC line..... btw thanks mike m

first i'd like to thank mike m from ipsracing.
here is what i got

i'm still waiting on my comptech air filter hopefully it will be here soon !!
there are enough review about icebox so whoever wants to know just search for it !!

i do have two problems tho one is

as you can see in the pic my AC line is rubbing my intake and i tried to move it to right side but i guess that's how far i can move @@ anyone else have the same problem ? is there any solution for this ???

second problem i have is, while i was driving, 1st to 3rd gear if i shift at 3-4k rpm, when i step on the clutch i could hear a wierd sound( sound like my intake is loosing air or it's sucking more air as i step on a clutch (cant descript it, may be like backfire kinda feeling not the sound)) is it because i'm just on stock airfilter ? i'm pretty sure i tighten everything
and the piece that's connecting to the tude (the one hide behind the turn signal, i cant get it all the way in to connect the tude !! will this coz any performance ? i think there is a little line that's not covered by the tude, could cause losing air !

anyway any help would be great
once again thanks mike and i'm still waiting on my air filter

What is that piece in the lower left hand corner of the 2nd picture? My icebox doesn't have that.

My A/C lines rub as well. I just took a few layers of duct tape to the piping where the lines rub.....

i just bent the line slightly..but put a piece of rubber there.. just in case.

on a side note, what is that extra part for your icebox (in the pic of the icebox uninstalled) that's right underneath the air "horn" section?

ok on the manual it says 3"flex bellows !!
anyone have any idea what it is ?? the manual didnt show where it should be installed.
edit i found it !! on the manual it says "using 3:flex bellow and #48 hose clamps, connect the aluminym intake tube to the end of teh air filterinlet funnel ."

so it's for the intake arm !!

anyone know the "sound" problem i have ??

Odd mine had no fitment issues with the AC line, and im using the stock intake tube. Also that sound you are hearing might just be the normal whistle that all R intakes make. The icebox makes that sound rather audible in the lower rpm ranges at part-throttle.

He's saying he's not on the throttle though. The noise comes out when he steps on the clutch pedal. I hope that is what he means.

When my aem was rubbing i used a zip tie to hold those two lines together. It gave me an extra 1/2"
