Default Civic Type-R EK9 - ITR DC2 Spoon

Can someone tell me if the Spoon calipers for the EK9 Civic Type-R is the same as DC2 ITRs and will fit on either? Also do they go onto the stock caliper brackets or are they suppose to come with their own brackets? The part numbers are the same apart from the EK9 and DC2 bit :

ITR: 45018-DCR-G00
EK9: 45018-EK9-G00

EK9 = 97-01 USDM ITR and also 97 JDM ITR
When you buy Spoon Calipers for 98 spec JDM ITR suspension, Spoon supplies washers/spacers to make them fit correctly on EK9 suspension. So it don't really matter what Spoon calipers you get both will work but the 98 JDM spec set will come with washers/spacers.

Difference between ITR and CTR Calipers from Spoon is that the DC2R Caliper from Spoon is an EK9 Spoon Caliper with an area machined down about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch. It also includes Spacers (washers) to fill in the machined out area. It seems some Integras need the area machined down and some do not. Most ITR's I have seen need the Spacers in (So could also use the EK9 Version) but I've seen some ITR's and other Models of Integra that require the Machined section without the use of the spacers.

arent ek9 and dc2r knuckles the same, and so are the rotors, oem calipers, hub etc etc.. except for the 98 jdm itr being 36mm axle nut, and the ctr only had 32mm(?)

so why would washers be needed... aka why honda made them different ?
