looking for info in rear brakes for an EF civic. i want disks, heard i can use the ones of the CRX Si, or 91 teg's. what exactly will i need? or should i just snag the whole LCA off the Si or the teg?

my friend put the whole trailing arm from a teg on his crx.... so i guess either model would work....

 

You will need the LCA's, rotors, calipers, brake lines, and parking brake lines off a 91 CRX Si or a 90-93 Integra.

All you need is the trailing arms, you don't need the LCA's.

That makes sense to keep the existing 88 CRX LCA's cuz aren't the 90-93 Teg LCA's different...meaning you'd have to change rear shocks too? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm picking up the complete rear end Monday...comes with LCA's, trailing arms, rotors, calipers, lines...etc. If I don't need the LCA's off the Teg, that'll save me a few bucks!

So the rotors should bolt up to the 88 CRX LCA's? Can anyone expand on this?

 

You won't need the LCA for the swap. I Tried putting them in with the acura springs but the back end shot up about 3" due to the shocks. The Trailing arm is all you are going to need as long as it comes with the calipers, e-brake cables still attached.

You can use the rear brakes from any 90-00 Civic or Integra.
