Default 98' H22 into an EG hatchback?

I've noticed that when most people put an H22 into a 92-95 hatchback, they use the motor from the older H22. Does anyone use the H22 from the 98 body style Prelude? Thanks.

i'm sure it doesn't really matter. you still have to use the same aftermarket mounts.

The older prelude motors are closed deck, while the newer ones are not... that makes a world of difference to some people...?

Been there done that. The only difference is that with some mounkits you will have to change the rear bracket to a 92-95 h22 one. Other than that its all the same thing..

some companies won't resleeve 92-96 h22's
most companies will sleeve 97 up h22's
