Axle stuck in my inter. Shaft!

Default Axle stuck in my inter. Shaft!

I ve beat this damn thing for like 20 mins now with a hammer etc ..Dont have a pry bar but anyone got any other tips ?? Ive hit it eith a hammer while pulling out on it ..Its moved about 1/2in but thats where it stops.

Get some PB blaster and spray where its stuck. Get a bigger hammer and beat the fudge out of it.

Well I got it out. Ended up having to take out the inter. shaft and beat the **** out of it with a BFH. Hopefuly i didnt hurt it to bad.

I use long skinny screwdrivers and slide them through the side so about a inch of the screwdriver is against the tranny and pull hard like a pry bar.
Hopefully thats understandable.

one of those problems....... that happens on like almost all 1G talons the best way to get that out for future knowledge is heat it up with a torch then but out a can of pb blaster then out on a hub puller bolt the 3 ears down with the wheel nuts then get the impact out and it will push that bad boy right out of the hub

intermediate shaft on a civic. not a hub on a talon.

The way to do it is to pry from both sides of the axel actually... there is a circle clip which is designed to make it hard for people who are not doing it right.

sorry, ive never used a torch to take out something with a bearing in it, or something that can be removed with a little prying. but what do i know...ill get lost in my honda world of non torch use and simplicity.
