Well.....the car is fuxored. Just cosmetic damage, but it's at least 5000 in damage. Really sucks. I'll have pics tomorrow. It was a hit and run with a Bronco. Didn't even phase the guy. Front right corner is goner. Radiator support is fucked. Just need to vent my frustration right now.

I just finished setting up the car, and now this. I was having bad luck with cars today and I guess I should have known better.

My bro's accord broke down today, then this.

She's gonna come back better than ever though. Hopefully I'll get a color change because I really have a bad streak with black cars.

I have a momo wheel. My face hit the wheel and my chin is swelling up pretty good. No other bodily injury.

 

Oh...man! Sorry to hear that dude...I know you've been building up your car for a while too with all those parts you bought from me.....at least you're ok...how bad is the damage?

Momo like JDM ITR Momo? Or just an aftermarket Momo? I'm assuming no SRS? Did you have your seat-belt on? I imagine your head can still hit the wheel with a seat-belt on, but I'm still curious.

I don't want to sound like an *** here, but it sounds like you were not wearing a seatbelt? or did it fail? if you were not wearing one, you're pretty lucky with only a busted up chin.

Most importantly, you'll live. The car is worthless compared to your life.

Glad to hear you have no other injuries besides the chin.... what happened? How'd you hit your head? Like dave said, I'd think the seatbelt would have locked.

Anyways, any chance the guilty party will be found out? (i.e., someone calling in, catching the plate, etc...)

But look at the bright side, now you can use the insurance money to get rid of that front end and put the mad rare USDM front clip on.

 

That sucks...just get the car repainted black, a full repaint is going to be $$$$$$, my old roommate works at a body shop.
