launch rpm? for those with not so high of a rev limiter...
ok I've read the archieves and see u guys launching at anywhere between 5.5-8k rpms in all the vtec cars, but what about the non-vtec croud? Since i shift around 6-6.5k on my prelude si, where would my best launch rpm be.
Here's the setup:

t3/t4 turbo setup
23x8.5x15in M&H slicks

Those slicks are gonna hook pretty good. It SUCKS to bog on slicks, you're much better off to spin them. Start high and work your way down. I'd start at at least 5.5k.

i have the h22 trans on my f22 non vtec engine w/ a maximum revout of 6800. i usually launch anywhere from 4800-5500.
