Well you should probably get the camber kit and springs put on at the same time..its easiest, then get your alignment done, make sure you ask the shop if they do it for lowered cars, some shops around here don't know how to adjust lowered cars with camber kits....just ask them before, plus alignments are only 50 bucks. And will save you TONS in the future with tire and suspension wear.
Most places will give a warranty on your alignment. You can lower the car, get it aligned and then decide if you need the kit or not. If you do, install it (takes less than an hour) and have it realigned with no further expense.
I got a solid 2 years on Z rated tires, 1.8" drop without a camber kit. I got slightly uneven wear but it was tolerable.
I only started getting abnormal wear when I went to a 3" drop (-2.1 camber in front). I got a correction kit after I went through a set of Yoks in 3 months. My tires still don't wear evenly but I'm getting much more longevity now.
You may want to wait and see how your car reacts to your drop. I had a 94 accord with a 2.5 drop and never needed a camber kit...that car is dead now, but my 98 coupe needed a kit with a 2.0 inch drop at the rear, go figure...

i agree you dont always need to rush and grab a kit..wait and have it checked if your are only going 1.8 you should be ok

I've got Prokits on my 99, so I don't need a kit. But, three different shops told me that if I went Sportlines that I would need a kit. If your going Eibach, they sell kits that correspond with the springs you're using.
