Right now I'm ready to buy my turbo kit, I'm going to buy from http://www.hondadriven.net/sun...d=119 and I know it costs a little more than a junk yard setup, but I'm looking for performance and reliability not inexpensiveness.

I can't decide which turbo I want or what horsepower I want my kit rated to, I was told the SC32 would be fine because I only want to make 500WHP right now without nos, but then again, should I leave room to improve and buy a 61?

Post complete setups of what you think would be ideal (besides the AEM EMS, I'm buying Hondata S200B)

I have searched, and I can't find any conclusive results so if you could share your ideas, theories, opinions it'd be appreciated.

500whp on a SC32??? They are only good for 480 at the flywheel? And your gonna run N20(NOT nos, unless you really are running nitrous oxide systems)?? so thats probably 550whp, right? I hope you got your block/head, hell everything built. Who recommended you the SC32 for 500+ whp?? Theres no way you searched dude You say your ready to buy your kit but I think ya need to do a wee bit more searching! In order for us to give you some good ideas on what to run you have to give us more info about than just whp. for what your looking for, i think you can find it all in the archives. Thats where i found 99.9% of my info. Good luck!

The debate on the SC61 is so played out.

Buy what you need not what 5 out of 10 people "think".

As already stated there is sooooo much to lean in the archives.

Start there and building the internals of the motor and the head.

7000, for everything, I want to get as much horsepower as possible, I'm spending 1750 to get the block sleeved by Dan Benson with 84mm CP pistons and Peak Performance rods..

low 11's at the track would be my goal, and a raper on the street, I want to go for the best performance, I'm really not concerned about the price.

I've really decided on everything else EXCEPT for the actual turbo and injector size...

I just want a 500hp car at the track and 20mpg+ on the street.

We don't even know what motor you have, how do you expect us to help you to find out which parts you need?

Besides that here are some components that will be benificial for you:
sc 61 (better to have more then too little)
inline pro manifold (drag won't cut it), or better yet since money is not an option for you get a love fab or full-race one
31.5x3.5x8 precision intercooler
custom make your own 2.5" intercooler piping
custom make a 3" downpipe and exhaust
tial 40mm wastegate
whatever BOV floats your boat
Whatever EMS your TUNER is best with
precision 780cc injectors
do research on fuel pumps, for 500whp i would go ahead and buy a nice aeromotive electronic fuel pump

I forgot to also mention 7 g's is not going to cut it. Labor is going to bust your chops if you are not doing everything yourself. Also, with 500whp I hope you have looked into redoing all of your fuel lines with at least a -8an feed and -6an return. With 500whp I would go -10 feed... but thats just me.

While we are on the topic of money, how much money do you plan on spending on your suspension? You can have all the power in the world, but if you cant put the power down its useless...

Keep us updated on the progess and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Also, what car is this motor going into? Depending on the car, you might not need 500whp to run 11's...

Ok so my goal is high - low 11's, I don't want a rocket, I just want something that has very good performance I can still drive on the street.

I don't want to have to redo fuel lines or
anything expensive like that.

With the CX hatch I think with low 400whp you could easily run 11's. Trust me, with 500whp stock lines are not going to cut it.

so for 9000 (I saved 2000 for suspension and clutch and exhaust) what would be the ideal setup for making 400whp.
