Hasport wiring help!
Okay im doing a DPFI-MPFI B16A swap to 88 Std. Civic and I have a prob in the wiring somewhere because the car will turn over but not start.
My friend is swapping an LS into a DPFI CRX and he sent his harness to Hasport to get it wired for MPFI. He got the harness back and Hasport told him he didnt need a resistor box to make the swap work.
Has anyone else ever heard of this? I thought you had to have a resistor box for the DPFI to MPFI conversion.
Does anyone have a clue how this is possible, or why the hell his swap is running fine with no resistor box and mine is not with a resistor box???
What the hell should I do???
Thanks

If you're running OBD-0 LS injectors (90-91), then they are peak & hold injectors and you will need a fuel injector resistor box. You can run saturated injectors in an OBD-0 car w/out the FI resistor box, but you need to do a couple of "tricks" to make it work properly or it's not going to run well and sputter a bit.
They might have soldered inline resistors into the harness, call them and ask if they did that. Or if you are converting to OBD1 injectors, you don't need a resistor box.
